As an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner, I focus on providing high-quality behaviour support services to people with disabilities. With a focus on promoting positive behaviour change, improving daily living skills, and encouraging independence. My purpose is to assist clients to reach their goals and live satisfying lives, whether through the creation of tailored behaviour plans, evaluations, or collaboration with families and carers.
Recently retired from a Qld Health career spanning four decades as a Psychiatric Nurse Specialist, I am a dedicated and compassionate, independent sole trading behaviour practitioner trading as Building Better Futures Australia.
My approach to care is deeply rooted in the principle of unconditional positive regard, emphasising the development and enhancement of daily routines for those that I will work with.
I possess a keen ability to identify and concentrate on specific behaviours that, once addressed, can significantly alter the course of an individual’s life for the better.
At the heart of my practice lies a strength based and person-centred approach, aimed at fostering overall improvements in the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
I am dedicated to empowering my clients and supporting them in achieving their aspirations and unlocking their full potential.
My commitment to the highest standards of health care have been proven through decades of providing the highest level of care and support to both my clients and their loved ones.
